Dear ARRL Info-Server user, Regrettably, there was an error in the Info-Server instructions listed in the DTMF Accessory Squelch article. The software that accompanies this article does not exist in text file form. Instead, the software and article notes have been combined into a single archive file, DAS.ZIP. However, if you only have email access, you can still obtain the archive from the Info-Server with the following special procedure. Send an email message to info@arrl.org and request the file DAS.UU, like so: send das.uu quit This is a UUencoded version of the file DAS.ZIP. To decode it, you will need a copy of the program uudecode. If you do not have one, you can also request the file GENUU.BAT from the server: send genuu.bat quit This is a batch file that you can run under MS-DOS to create UUDECODE.EXE. Once you have UUDECODE.EXE and DAS.UU, enter the following command at your DOS prompt to create DAS.ZIP: uudecode das.uu In order to recreate the original 8 files, you will need the program PKunzip (version 2.04G) and you will need to be familiar with how it is used. If you do not have a copy of PKunzip version 2.04G, you may obtained the software from the BBS (sorry - it is not available via email). I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
